QUINCY — The Veterans’ Home at Quincy hosted its annual Veterans’ Day Program for residents and the community, including a keynote address by Lieutenant Colonel John Bleigh (USA, Retired), a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and Special Forces Officer, music by Quincy Notre Dame High School, and a wreath-laying ceremony. “We look forward to honoring our veterans during our annual Veterans Day program,” said Administrator Chuck Newton. “While we consider every day as Veterans Day, this program is a special recognition of their service and sacrifice.” Randy Phillips captured the sights and sounds of this memorable event.
