No injuries. Neighbors report activity in the days leading up to the emergency, when the home was supposed to be vacant.

Online records show the City of Quincy placed it on the “Fix-or-Flatten” list in April of 2025.

No word on a cause.

At least one neighbor tells Muddy River News that not too long ago, somebody hung up blankets over the window when they thought the house had been condemned.

They also saw a small grill in the front yard the day before the fire.
