To expedite improvements to State Street, the Quincy City Council authorized Mayor Linda Moore to send a letter to IDOT to begin the process of a potential jurisdictional transfer of portions of roadway currently under IDOT to the city.

The compensation IDOT provides will be a major sticking point.
