Friends and family demonstrated outside the Marion County Courthouse in Hannibal for several hours on Friday.

They’re demanding that the man arrested for the murder of Emily Andrea Traynor, 22,  in October be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

They think the gruesome and deadly stabbing is worthy of the death penalty.

They have also started an online petition to ensure that there are no plea deals.
