LOUISIANA, Mo.–Police Chief Josh Baker released the body cam video worn by a fellow officer during a controversial search of a historic property on October 29.

At first the chief said privacy prevented him from making the video public.

On Friday afternoon, he notified Muddy River News that the city attorney said they could release it.

Muddy River News is publishing the video in its entirety from the point of the first officer’s arrival.

MRN has removed the names of people who are not in the police report or in the police video.

Audio is silenced when talking about private vehicles.

MRN has also removed audio when medical items are discussed out of an abundance of caution due to the privacy law known as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, or HIPAA.
