THE DETAILS
Surgeon David Rapp has traveled the globe to operate on people whose poverty has denied them basic care. He has climbed the highest mountain in North America to raise money to support his charity, Global Surgical Expedition, or GSE, while facing the challenges of bringing an entire operating room to the farthest corners of the earth. He is a man who has reached great heights and traveled great distances, and yet, the conversation somehow manages to drift to the down-to-earth approach to healing he witnessed at the Quincy clinic of his grandfather, Dr Roy Rapp.
