THE DETAILS

A passerby called 9-1-1 to report a body in Quincy’s Washington Park around 8 Sunday morning, November 30.

Responding officers said it was obvious the person was dead.

MRN’s Michele McCormack talks briefly with Sgt. Jessica Hollensteiner, who was in charge of the scene, but she was limited on what she could say given the early stages of the investigation.

Several evidence markers dotted the main path through the park.

The coroner’s office removed the body, but it was unclear if initial findings at the scene would warrant an autopsy.
