THE DETAILS

The day after Christmas, a new washer, dryer, refrigerator, and deep freezer arrived at Hope House for expectant mothers facing homelessness.

Quincy Notre Dame football players paid for the appliances, with money they raised during Homecoming Week.

The non-profit said it is humbled by the support and blessed to have received more than $7,000 from QND fundraising.

Football Coach Jack Cornell said the players, like the student body, are pro-life.

“We empowered them,” Coach Cornell said.
