DURHAM, Mo. — Dozens of law enforcement officers spent Tuesday afternoon searing for a missing person near Durham.
Lewis Co. Sheriff David Parrish told MRN’s Michele McCormack that his office, the Hannibal Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol are investigating a missing person from the Hannibal area.
Parrish said the area being searched is south of Durham. He said as it is a continuing investigation he cannot yet say if any evidence has been discovered.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s dive team was also brought in to search local ponds.
Parrish said there was no danger to the community, calling it “an isolated incident.”
