Just as the Quincy City Council meeting ended on Monday night, a woman was injured in a single car crash just outside City Hall.

Just after 9:15 p.m. Monday, a black Cadillac SUV was northbound on Eighth Street and veered into the building on the northwest corner of the intersection.

Bystanders called 911 and Quincy Police, Quincy Fire and Adams County Ambulance personnel responded quickly.

A woman was outside the vehicle in considerable pain. Another occupant of the car, who was wheelchair-bound, was removed from the vehicle.
