Bob Gough sits in for Ashley and talks about Muddy River’s expansion with a full-time reporter based out of Hannibal.

Meg Duncan is an award-winning columnist and Hannibal native who has years of experience covering Northeast Missouri for various publications.

Meg will also be covering Pike County, Illinois for Muddy River as well. She will host a podcast, write about local issues and features and she said she is excited to share the stories of her hometown with Muddy River News readers.

Meg has been married to Shawn for 20 years and they are raising two teenage boys, Connor and Logan. They are also raising 10 ducks, four goats and two dogs on a farm outside of New London, Mo.

You will see Meg’s work featured in Muddy River News coming in the new year.

He also talks to Henry Sweets with the Mark Twain Museum and Boyhood Home about a new exhibit donated by a Twain collector with hundreds of new pieces.
